Case study · Superior Plumbing & Heating
Same team. $226K more a month with WorkflowPros.
How Superior Plumbing books the calls its office can’t get to, at night and while the dispatchers are on other calls.
Superior is one of our own shops. These are its numbers after about two months. The $226K is revenue, not profit.
- 50 More booked jobs a week
- 30 Of them came in while the office was busy
- 0 New techs or dispatchers
- 18–20% Of customers leave a review, up from 10%

When your dispatcher is on the phone, what happens to the next caller?

At Superior Plumbing, WorkflowPros answers.
Its AI picks up at night. During the day, it takes the call when the dispatchers are tied up with other customers.
About two months in, Superior figures it’s booking about 50 more jobs a week that it would have missed.
Most of the extra jobs come in while the office is busy
About 20 of them come in at night.
The other 30 come in while the dispatchers are already on the phone.
So it’s not mostly an after-hours problem.

Here’s how it works:
If a call rings for 40 seconds while the dispatchers are busy, WorkflowPros picks it up. Whoever’s on the phone finishes their call while the AI books the new caller.
At night, the AI answers and books the job in an open slot. The customer gets on the schedule without waiting for the office to open. If it’s an emergency, like a burst pipe at 2 AM, it wakes up the on-call tech.

It books the job. It doesn’t just take a message.
Taking a message still leaves your office a call to return and a job to book.
WorkflowPros works off the same schedule your office uses. It checks who has open time and where they’re already headed, then books the job.
An open slot isn’t enough. The job has to fit around the tech’s other jobs and drive time.

The same team handles more work
More booked jobs don’t help if your techs can’t get to them.
Superior says the routing helped its techs fit in the extra work. They picked up a couple of extra hours here and there.
At Superior’s usual 15% cancellation rate, 50 more booked jobs work out to about 42–43 more jobs done a week.
By Superior’s count, those jobs bring in about $226K a month.

Nearly twice as many customers leave a review
Before WorkflowPros, the techs had to remember to ask for a Google review.
Now WorkflowPros texts the customer a review request when the job’s done.
Superior says 18–20% of customers now leave a review, up from 10%.
| For every 100 customers | Leave a review |
|---|---|
| Before | 10 |
| Now | 18–20 |

Google Maps bookings are up 20%
These are booked jobs, not just profile views or clicks.

How we counted
- The 50 extra booked jobs a week are the shop’s estimate after about two months with the AI.
- We count only the extra jobs: the ones Superior says it would have missed without the AI.
- No techs or dispatchers were added.
- The 42–43 figure allows for the shop’s usual 15% cancellation rate. The $226K a month is the shop’s reported revenue from the extra jobs, not profit.
- We count Google Maps bookings separately from the review rate. Reviews and phone answering got better at the same time, so we don’t split the credit.
- Some Maps customers also booked through the AI. We don’t count those twice.
